Domaine Montanet-Thoden is led by Valentin Montanet, who represents the second generation of his family to make wines for the Kermit Lynch import portfolio. This gorgeous Chardonnay is harvested by hand, fermented using native yeast and raised in stainless steel, making for a wonderfully pure, exact wine from an unsung region of Burgundy west of Dijon and south of Chablis. Celebration Gamay Noir by Evening Land

From one of the original plantings of Gamay in North America, a Willamette Valley vineyard site established in 1983, this bottling from renowned producer Evening Land (makers of Oregon’s first 98-point Pinot Noir) follows the model of Cru Beaujolais. Ripe, vivacious red cherry, strawberry and cranberry with hints of fresh-cracked pepper. Silky and long on the palate, with a supple texture that carries the elegant finish.

Bonneau Meritage 2012 Sonoma Valley

2016 08 Bonneau Meritage text lo res

The latest in a series of amazing deals in celebration of our 45th anniversary!

Bonneau Meritage 2012

We love this Bordeaux-style red blend from Sonoma, and we couldn’t believe the deal we got on such a stellar vintage! First, a quick lesson in vocabulary and wine law: In order to call your wine a Meritage (rhymes with “heritage”), you must blend two or more of the noble Bordeaux grape varieties (here, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot) and apply for a license to use the word on your label. If your wine doesn’t measure up, you can call it anything you like…just not “Meritage.” Pick up this beauty while it lasts: only 4 cases are available at this price!
