A rosé blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Carignan and 20% Syrah from “Grand Cru of the Languedoc” Mas de Daumas Gassac. Intense aromas of strawberry lead to a palate full of crushed raspberry and violet pastille. Fresh, lively and refreshing.

2015RS 088. Poggerino Aurora Rosato 2014 Tuscany, Italy

100% Sangiovese rosato made from the free-run juice of the estate’s harvest for Chianti and Rosso blends. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve aromatic freshness and purity, the wine is fresh and fruity, with red berry and floral notes and lively acidity.

100% Garnatxa (Garnacha) from Terra Alta in the mountains of southwestern Catalonia. Light salmon in color, the result of less than 3 hours’ skin contact. Delicate floral aromas are followed by fresh watermelon, strawberry and citrus.

Rosé of old-vine Pinotage, that uniquely South African cross of Pinot Noir and Cinsault. Bright and fruity, with strawberry, cherry and cranberry flavors and a fresh, tangy finish.

2015RS 1919. Anne Amie Prismé Pinot Noir Blanc 2011 Yamhill-Carlton, Oregon

Pinot Noir gently pressed, liberating the juice without color or tannin, then barrel-fermented and aged 18 months in French oak. Structured white wine with a backbone of acidity, a voluptuous mid-palate and a long, creamy finish. Baked apple, fennel, vanilla bean, candied ginger, crème brulée.

2015RS 2020. Castillo Ducay Rosé 2014 Cariñena, Spain

90% Garnacha, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Watermelon, ripe strawberry, blood orange, and even a little white pepper on the nose. Dances across the palate with juicy lemon acidity carrying flavors of tangerine, raspberry and orange zest.

42% Malbec, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Zinfandel, 14% Syrah. Enticing aromas of rose petal, strawberry and melon with floral components in the background.

22. Steininger Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2014 Kamptal, Austria

A superb rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon from Karl Steininger, who also produces a sparkling sekt bottling of pink Cab. Aromas of cherry cream, tart apricot and dried cranberry.

100% Zweigelt, a cross between Blaufränkisch and native Austrian variety St. Laurent. The bouquet mixes raspberry and cherry, dandelion and lavender. Juicy and energetic.

Lightly sparkling rosé of biodynamically farmed Austrian Pinot Noir. A total crowd-pleaser vintage after vintage, with cherry and bright citrus dancing on the palate.

This Traminer Aromatico (Gewürztraminer) is, as the name suggests, wonderfully aromatic. A riot of fleshy stone fruit, lychee, rose petal and elderflower, complex and intriguing.

Exotic, totally beguiling white wine from southern Italy. Apricots, white truffles, flowers, honey and mint are all woven together beautifully in this exceptional, polished wine.

2015RS 2727. Cascina Chicco Anterisio Roero Arneis 2013 Piedmont, Italy

Anterisio, near the town of Canale, is known for producing beautiful, aromatic Arneis. Bright aromas of apples, pears, peaches and citrus with a palate marked by lively acidity.

We love Txakoli! Just saying this Basque beauty’s name (“CHAHK-oh-lee”) makes our mouths water. Citrusy, minerally and utterly refreshing.

Complex, juicy and versatile rosé of Pinot Noir from Sonoma winemaker Rick Moshin. Mouthwatering and succulent, with just the right amount of bright acidity. Delicate aromas and flavors of watermelon, fresh strawberry, agave and rose petal.

An elegant rosé of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre (80/15/5) with aromas of grapefruit, cherry, pear drop and luscious, ripe summer berries. Bright acidity is well-balanced with intense fruit and floral notes.

We didn’t think Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc could get any more refreshing until we tasted this sparkling version! Exotic passion fruit, blackcurrant and grapefruit with the region’s characteristic acidity, all riding on fine frizzante bubbles.

2015RS 3737. Belle Glos Pinot Noir Blanc Oeil-de-Perdrix 2014 Sonoma County, California

Citrus-driven aromas carry through to the palate, where bright acidity enlivens creamy orange flavors with layers of tart dried apricot. Richness on the mid-palate balances the acidity and drives flavors of dried fruit through the long-lasting finish.

Chasselas is widely planted in Switzerland, but few bottles leave its borders and the ones that do get quite expensive. This is Chasselas from just across Lake Geneva in Savoie, France. Sleek and medium-bodied with pear and lime flavors.

2015RS 4545. Ameztoi Rubentis Getariako Txakolina Rosé 2014 Getaria, Spain

Have we mentioned how much we love Txakoli? (See #30). 50% Hondarribi Beltza and 50% Hondarribi Zuri, indigenous Basque grapes blended to make this vibrant, intriguing rosé. Tart red fruits combine with a lime-infused edge on the finish.

2015RS 4646. Château Haut-Mayne Graves Blanc 2014 Bordeaux, France

60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon. Delicate aromas of white peach, lemon and pear. Elegant on the finish, with citronella and lemon zest highlighting a lovely balance between richness and acidity.

40% Mourvèdre, 30% Cinsault, 30% Grenache. 93 pts, Wine Enthusiast: “Rich and smooth, structured and textured without losing sight of generous fruitiness. Orange peel combines with red berries to give a full yet fresh wine.”

2015RS 4848. Château de Montfaucon Les Gardettes Rosé 2014 Rhône Valley, France

An intensely pink cuvée of Cinsault, Counoise and Grenache, with lesser parts Mourvèdre and Syrah, from the southern Rhône Valley. Refreshing and crisp, with hints of peaches, raspberries and violets. Easy to love, difficult to put down.

2015RS 4949. Wild Thing Rendezvous Rosé 2014 Mendocino County, California

Crafted primarily from sustainably grown Carignane, this is intense rosé with juicy berry and melon aromas over a hint of pink grapefruit. Crisp, dry and refreshing, it pairs well with everything from sushi to BBQ ribs.

Lively, fresh rosé Lambrusco from Lini, producers in Emilia since 1910. Lambrusco’s characteristic frizzante style showcases a playful palate of bright cherry, raspberry and red currant fruit.

35% Grenache, 18% Mourvèdre, 16% Grenache Blanc, 12.5% Roussanne, 8% Carignane, 8% Cinsaut, 1.5% Marsanne, 1% Counoise. Elegant, sleek and mouthwateringly compelling, with aromas of black tea, bergamot and wild strawberry.

Fresh, fruity rosé of Grenache Noir grown on gravely slopes in the South of France. Supple and engaging on the palate, with summery flavors of blood orange, ripe berry and clover.

2015RS 5757. Elena Walch Rosé 20/26 2014 Alto Adige, Italy

Equal parts Lagrein, Merlot and Pinot Nero so dubbed for its must weight at harvest (20° Babo) and fermentation temperature (26° C). Red berries and cherries with a little pepper in the background. Stimulating and seriously drinkable.

2015RS 5858. Courtney Benham Gewürztraminer 2013 Sonoma County, California

This is an easy drinker with zippy acidity and mouthwatering aromas of honeysuckle, Asian pear and orange blossom. Just a bit off-dry and well-balanced, terrific with or without food.

2015RS 5959. Allendorf Spätburgunder Rosé 2014 Rheingau, Germany

Founded in 1773 and best known for Riesling, the Allendorf estate also produces Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) for reds and this gorgeous rosé. Aromas of tangerine and strawberries, with elegant balance between the fruit’s natural cool-climate acidity and the fruit itself.

2015RS 6060. Triennes Rosé 2014 Provence, France

A partnership between the owners of Domaine Dujac and Domaine de la Romanée Conti, Triennes has quickly established itself as one of the premier wineries in southern France. Primarily Cinsault, with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot. Red raspberry, lime zest and lemongrass.

2015RS 6161. Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy Terre de Maimbray Sancerre Rosé 2014 Loire Valley, France

Best known for its Sauvignon Blanc, Sancerre is also home to red and rosé wines made from Pinot Noir. This bottling from renowned producers in the region is wonderfully minerally, with filigreed acidity underlining perfumed strawberry, cherry and citrus blossom.

2015RS 6262. Jean-Baptiste Adam Crémant d’Alsace Brut-Rosé NV Alsace, France

Sparkling Pinot Noir from Alsace, where the long, sunny growing season allows for wonderfully developed fruit flavors even from grapes destined for sparkling wines. Aromas of currant, raspberry and apricot introduce a team of fine bubbles carrying fleshy fruit across the palate.
