019This Loire Valley white is derived from the Romorantin grape, introduced to the Loire Valley in the 16th century by King Francis I. It’s a wine of bracing acidity and thirst-quenching potency. Think citrus and green apple with highlights of honey and acacia. We enjoy Romorantin whenever we can, with gooey La Tur cheese and water biscuits. $16
