What are they doing to Saison down in the Springs? Trinity threw in 24 pounds of English cucumbers per barrel, along with a strong punch of lemon zest and grains of paradise, and fermented it all with some Brettanomyces yeast in the mix. What you get is a fun, funky, fresh Saison with a pronounced cucumber-y nose and rounded vegetal presence on the palate–which, given that Saisons already show a lot of yeasty vegetal notes, is not such a bad thing. Definitely something for the adventurous (and perhaps vegetarian?) beer lover. 750ml. $13
